RUSSIA BUSINESS VISA
The Russia Business Visa is a type of visa issued for business people who will travel to the Russian Federation for fair participation, business meetings, contract signing, market research, or developing commercial partnerships.
The biggest difference between a business visa and a standard tourist visa is the requirement of an official Invitation (LOI) document approved by the Migration Department (FMS) of the Russian Ministry of Interior Affairs. This invitation is obtained by the inviting company in Russia applying on your behalf.
The business visa can be issued as single entry, double entry, or multiple entry (Multi) for up to 1 year. However, a business visa does not provide a salaried work permit in Russia — a separate Work Visa is required for that.

Important: Not a Work Permit
The Russia business visa is only valid for business meetings, fair participation, and contract negotiations. To work for a company in Russia on a salaried basis, you are required to obtain a separate Work Visa and Work Permit (Разрешение на работу).

- Passport (At least 6 months validity after travel, at least 2 blank pages)
- Official invitation letter (LOI - Letter of Invitation) approved by the Migration Department (FMS) of the Russian Ministry of Interior Affairs or telex invitation
- Completed and signed online Russian visa application form (In Russian or English)
- 2 biometric photos (35x45 mm, white background, taken within the last 6 months)
- Copy of identity card
- Certificate of activity or employment certificate from the company in Turkey — Petition written in English on company letterhead
- Health insurance (Valid in Russia, minimum coverage €30,000)
