Current Passport Fees

Diplomatic passports have 28 pages and the outer cover color is black.

According to Article 13 of the Passport Law; diplomatic passports are issued to those traveling for temporary duty or travel, depending on the nature of their duty or travel, for a single trip or for a maximum of two years, and to those traveling for permanent duty for a period to be determined by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Diplomatic passports are issued to; Members of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, non-member ministers, the President and members of the Constitutional Court, the first and second presidents of the Court of Cassation, the Council of State, the Military Court of Cassation, the Supreme Military Administrative Court, the Court of Accounts, the Chief of General Staff, former presidents, former prime ministers and former ministers of foreign affairs, Governors, Mayors of Metropolitan Municipalities, those who have received the title of Ambassador and career officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and similar high-level government officials.

As long as the titles and duties of those receiving diplomatic passports continue, the same type of passport can be issued to their spouses and unmarried children under the age of 25 who are living with them or whose education is continuing.

Diplomatic passports are not subject to any fees or taxes.

Special stamped passports have 30 pages and the outer cover color is green.

According to Article 14-A of the Passport Law, special stamped passports are issued to; State officials and other public officials in the first, second, and third-degree cadres or employed on contract subject to pension deductions from these degrees, and also to mayors who have gained the right to retirement from a first-degree cadre.

This type of passport is also issued to those who have left their duties due to retirement or resignation. Green passports are issued to provincial and district mayors during their term of office.

Furthermore, special stamped passports may be issued for two years to company officials whose average annual export volume over the last three years is above the value determined by the Council of Ministers, in accordance with the principles determined by the Council of Ministers.

Service stamped passports have 30 pages and the outer cover color is grey.

According to Article 14-B of the Passport Law; they are issued to individuals who cannot be issued diplomatic or special stamped passports, when they are sent to foreign countries on official duty by the Government, special administrations, or municipalities.

Service passports are also issued to those working in international organizations of which the Republic of Turkey is a member under civil servant status, and those appointed by the Turkish Aeronautical Association and the Turkish Red Crescent Society.

Service stamped passports are issued for a period to be determined by the Ministry of Interior according to the duration of the passport holder's duty, provided that it is not less than six months.
