US TOURIST AND BUSINESS VISA (B1/B2)
The B1/B2 (Visitor Visa) category is the type of visa that individuals wishing to travel to the United States for tourist trips, family visits, medical treatment, or short-term business trips should apply for.
While B1 visas are generally issued for business meetings, fair participations, or contract negotiations; B2 visas are for tourism, holidays, and medical treatment. Today, the consulate generally issues these two visas to applicants combined (B1/B2) as a 10-year multiple-entry visa.
Visa Requirements
- Proving that the trip is short-term and temporary (Round-trip tickets, hotel reservations)
- Proving sufficient financial capacity to cover all expenses during the stay in the US
- Proving strong ties to return to Turkey (Job, family, property, etc.)
Fees and Durations
*Issuing a 10-year visa is at their discretion, but it is applied as standard to Turkish citizens.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

- Passport (Valid for at least 6 months after return from the trip)
- DS-160 Form Confirmation Page (With barcode)
- 2 biometric photographs (5x5 cm, white background, taken within the last 6 months)
- Receipt proving the payment of the visa application fee ($185)
- Full Certificate of Identity Register (Via E-devlet, with barcode)
- Certificate of Residence (Via E-devlet, with barcode)
- Bank statement (For the last 3 months, active, with a balance sufficient to cover the trip, along with bank circular of signatures)
